Hunter Heat & Air provides free estimates on all new system sales and installations. Whether you have new construction or need to replace your existing system, we give you several different options to choose from. We will provide a quality installation with the best possible price, to assure your home or business comfort needs. We will do a load calculation and project walk through survey which we can address any of your comfort needs, including addressing any trouble hot or cold spots in your home or business.
Repair Service
When that unfortunate breakdown occurs and you need prompt reliable service, Hunter Heat & Air is the one to call. We have flat rate pricing, which means you know the price of the repair and approve before we do the work. There is a $42 diagnostic charge which compensates us for the time it takes to arrive at your home and diagnose the problem. Then there is no hidden charges or surprises, you see the price in our flat rate manual.
Preventative Maintenance
Every unit should have 1 to 2 planned service calls a year. Proper preventative maintenance can ensure you are getting the most efficient use of your equipment as well as preventing the costly and untimely breakdown from lack of maintenance. We provide a detailed system check list that covers: Compressor Suction psi, head psi, voltage, amperage, electrical connections, contacts tight & clean and oil level check. Condenser Coil Clean coil with foaming cleaner and check fin condition Refrigerant Check for proper charge Fan and Motor Check voltage and amperage, electrical connections, contacts tight and clean, fan pulleys(adjust belts), check and lubricate bearings and motor Evaporator Coil Clean coil and check fin condition, measure entering wet and dry bulb, leaving wet and dry bulb temperature Condensate Areas Inspect and clean drain pan, inspect and clean drain Air Filters Clean and or replace Heating Assembly Check burner and heat exchanger, fuel supply, pilot assembly, flame adjustment, primary relay and flue, fan and limit switch operation, blower assembly, rv valve, strip heat and defrost cycle. Electrical Components Check relays, contacters, overloads, pressure switch Thermostat Verify proper operation and placement
